How do I get the text code on my phone?

If you did not receive the verification code via text message required to log into the app, please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Text the word "start" to 703-637-4911.

  2. Return to the ShiftMed app and attempt to log in again to see if the text code is sent successfully this time.

  3. If you still did not receive a text code, continue with the additional steps.

  4. Make sure that your cell phone is running the latest IOS software. This can be found under your settings option on your phone. To see what the latest software version is available, please review the latest information on the websites for Apple and Android.

  5. After you ensure your phone is updated to the latest IOS software version, you will need to uninstall and reinstall the ShiftMed app.

  6. Return to the ShiftMed app and attempt to log in again to see if you receive a text code.

  7. If you still have not received a text code continue with the additional steps.

  8. In the ShiftMed App select the option "Get code via call". This should prompt a phone call to your mobile device, during which the verification code will be provided verbally.
