If you have an Illinois CNA license but haven’t provided nursing or nursing-related services for 24 consecutive months, your certification is no longer valid.

To be recertified as an Illinois nurse aide, please visit the nurse aide testing page on the Southern Illinois website for instructions on how to do so.

If you have questions or need additional information about the recertification process, please contact Southern Illinois University at inat@siu.edu or (877) 262-9259.
