Every nursing home has been on lock down for almost a period of 3 weeks now to limit exposure to COVID-19.

When arriving for a shift, ShiftMed employees can expect the following:

  • Screening Questions

Do you have fever or symptoms of a respiratory infection, such as a cough and sore throat?
Have you traveled internationally within the last 14 days to restricted countries?
Have you had contact with someone with known or suspected COVID-19?

Should you have been in contact with someone and answer 'Yes'.  If you have not had any symptoms for over 72 hours and wear a surgical mask then you are okay to continue working with a mask at all times for the next 7 days.  If you experience issues at a check-in, please press 'Get Help' in your app or call us at 1-855-868-0164.

  • Fever Check to ensure that you are not running a fever

  • More education and training on COVID-19 and instruction on hand washing
