How do I get a background check to work in Florida?

If you require fingerprints to be completed for Florida AHCA our Credentialing Department will send you a LiveScan Request Form to start your fingerprinting process. You will need to take this with you to your fingerprinting appointment.

You will need to complete a new background check. Great News! We have partnered with FastFingerprints to help get your background check completed. We will cover the full cost of this background check.

You must schedule an appointment in advance by using the link below.

Steps to schedule your fingerprinting appointment:

Select: "Enter Account Code"

Enter Code: Enter the code that was provided to you in your email, and confirm that it was provided by ShiftMed.

Find a Location: Enter your zip code (Select the best location from the list)

Location/Mapping section

Schedule a Time: Select the date and time that works best for you. (Select the arrows to move through the dates to find the one that works best for you.)

Summary of Services: Review information on the screen accuracy - Be sure that the location, date and time are correct.

Make sure to take your LiveScan Request Form with you to your fingerprinting appointment. This will be sent to you via email from the Credentialing Team if you require fingerprinting.

Once you have completed your appointment the Fast Fingerprint system will take care of the subsequent steps, ensuring efficient processing and seamless communication. Please communicate with them if they require any extra information.

Upload your credentials in the ShiftMed app.
