Trauma Nurse Core Course Certification (TNCC)
The TNCC provides emergency nurses with essential knowledge and hands-on skills for trauma care. This internationally recognized certification enhances critical thinking and prepares nurses to systematically assess and manage trauma patients within a team.
Offered exclusively to Registered Nurses through ENA University, the 1.5-day course awards 18.25 CNE hours. Licensed Practical Nurses and Paramedics may attend for CNE credit, but are not eligible for certification.
The blended curriculum includes:
A reference manual with current trauma standards
Online modules with interactive case studies
Instructor-led skills simulations
Upon completion, Nurses receive a Certification that is valid for four years.
