ShiftMed Attendance Policy and Expectations
Clocking in and out:
You are required to clock in and out for every shift using the ShiftMed app
Missed Punches:
If you are unable to use the app, you must promptly request a missed punch form from the Care Team to correct your time
Cancelling a Shift:
If you need to cancel a shift, you must report it in the ShiftMed app
Attendance Expectations:
ShiftMed operates as an on-demand or PRN platform and may categorize attendance events such as call-outs, cancellations, and unscheduled shifts using a weighted system. Hospital partners maintain high attendance expectations and may consider any change to a claimed shift to be an attendance violation
Failure to adhere to these procedures, or patterns of excessive lateness or cancellations, may impact your future shift opportunities at all SSM MO facilities.
