The Professional License Certificate credential in the app is used to contain a document that a state’s licensing body issues after a healthcare professional has met the state requirements and passed a specific licensing exam for a particular professional license type. The Professional License credential in the app contains a primary source verification (PSV) document to confirm a license is active and in good standing with the state in which the licensure is held. It is important to note that not all states provide a physical Professional License Certificate.

Some states including Florida, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin may require the user to have both the Professional License Certificate and the Professional License to be on file and verified before claiming a shift.
