ShiftMed Dress Code
You should wear nursing scrubs and appropriate shoes to your shift.
We recommend that our employees wear purple scrubs, as purple represents ShiftMed.
We also recommend that CNAs and LPNs stay away from traditional light blues which are customary for RNs. The reason being is that we do not want to confuse residents requiring memory care from confusing nurses from aides.
Some facilities may request that aides wear a specific color. If that is the case, we will let you know in advance of your shift.
Federal law prohibits employers from discriminating against you based on your religion, which includes wearing religious attire like a hijab.
Facility Specific Dress Codes
Not all hospitals require you to wear specific-colored scrubs, but we’ve outlined the
most common for you here.
