Healthcare professionals are exposed to various infectious diseases when caring for patients. Therefore, you should stay up-to-date on routine vaccinations, such as measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR).

According to the CDC, adults without evidence of immunity should get at least one dose of the MMR vaccine. Certain adults, such as healthcare professionals, should receive two doses separated by at least 28 days.

Vaccine and Titer Requirements

Some ShiftMed facility partners require healthcare professionals to show proof of MMR vaccination or a titer test. In other words, if you don't meet the requirements, the ShiftMed app won't allow you to claim shifts at these locations.

MMR Vaccine Checklist

When adding your vaccine information to the app, you must have/include the following:

  • Your Full Name

  • MMR Vaccine Label

  • Vaccination Location Information

  • Vaccination Administration Dates

MMR Titer Checklist

When adding your titer information to the app, you must include the following:

  • Your Full Name

  • Location of Titer Blood Test Completion

  • Must Show Immunity to Measles, Mumps, and Rubella

If your titer results indicate you don't have immunity to all three of these diseases, we can accept a negative titer if you get a booster following the date of your negative MMR titer blood test.

Adding Your Information to the App

To add your MMR vaccine or titer information, follow these steps:

  1. Go to My Credentials and tap MMR Vaccine located under either Required, Additional, or Unlock depending on your location.
