Welcome to ShiftMed! We look forward to you joining our dedicated team of certified respiratory therapists (CRT) in Nevada. Before you can start working shifts, you must download the ShiftMed app to your mobile device and complete the in-app onboarding process, which includes having us verify a series of credentials.
CREDENTIAL CHECKLIST
ShiftMed-Specific Requirements
These credentials are required to work with ShiftMed in Nevada. They are uploaded and verified via the ShiftMed app.
Government-issued Photo ID (driver's license, passport)
Professional CRT License for Nevada
Social Security Number (required for payroll purposes)
Form I-9 (authorization to work in the United States)
COVID-19 Vaccination (medical or religious form accepted)

State-Specific Requirements
These credentials are required to practice your profession in Nevada. They are uploaded and verified via the ShiftMed app.
Tuberculosis Test (1-step PPD, 2-step PPD, blood test, or chest x-ray)
These credentials are required to practice your profession in Nevada. We verify these credentials internally, so they are not uploaded to the app.
Checkr Criminal Background Check (must sign a consent form in the app)

Clear Record on the Office of Inspector General (OIG) Exclusion Check
Facility-Specific Requirements
These credentials are only required by some of our facility partners. So, the more credentials you have, the more shifts you can claim. They are uploaded and verified via the ShiftMed app.

Keep Tabs on Things
Visit the ˈMy Credentialsˈ section of the app periodically to ensure your onboarding process is moving along smoothly. The app will list your credentials as pending, missing, or verified. Your I-9 and background check will probably be pending the longest, so don't panic.
