Managing Shift Filters & Preferences

Everything you need to know about filtering shifts and updating your in-app preferences.

Congratulations on signing up for ShiftMed! Now that you’ve set up your profile, you’ll be able to see which shifts are currently available in your area.

Please note: Available shifts are ever-changing! If you don’t see anything available in the app, we recommend updating:

  • Your filters and in-app preferences

  • Changing your address to see available shifts in other areas

  • Checking back regularly for newly posted opportunities

How to Increase Your Chances of Finding Shifts

You can try expanding your search area to see more opportunities:

  1. Tap the filters icon at the top right of your screen.

  2. Select Filter Shifts in the ShiftMed app.

  3. Adjust the distance slider to widen your search area.

Still not seeing any shifts? Check out this article for more information on why shifts might not be showing up in your area!


How to See Shifts in Other Locations

Step 1

  • From the ShiftMed App, tap the 3 lines on the bottom right corner

Step 2

  • Tap Edit Profile

Step 3

  • You will need to change your city, state and zip code to the location you are interested in working.

Step 4

  • Click the Save Button when you are done!

Once your location is updated, you are ready to see shifts in that specified area.
