ShiftMed is excited to introduce Build-A-Bundles, a new feature that helps you maximize your schedule and earnings by building or requesting your own customized Bundle (long-term assignment).
What are Bundles at ShiftMed?
A Bundle is a long-term assignment designed to provide reliable coverage for facilities while maintaining flexibility for you.
You’ll general commit to a predictable weekly schedule, giving you the opportunity to build a routine and become familiar with the team and their workflow.
What is the difference between a Shift Bundle and a Build-A-Bundle?
A Shift Bundle allows you to claim a set of pre-scheduled shifts at a single facility in one action, based on availability in the Bundle Shift feed.
Build-A-Bundle allows you to create and request a customized Bundle (long-term assignment) by setting your preferred bundle parameters at a facility.
Enhanced with Guaranteed Bundles
To protect your income from cancellations, we are proud to offer Guaranteed Bundles. These bundles include Guaranteed Shifts®.
If a guaranteed shift within the bundle is cancelled by the facility, you will still be paid for the scheduled hours.
Note: Not all shifts in a bundle may be guaranteed. Check the bundle details in the app to see how many shifts carry the guarantee.
Eligibility Requirements
Healthcare Professionals who have unlocked with specific facilities matching their Verified PL or specialties.
How It Works
Select a Facility
Choose from the list of available facilities. Please note that options may be limited at this time, but additional facilities will be added in the future.Select Your License/Specialty
Choose your professional license and specialty.Choose Your Shift Preference
Indicate your preferred shift (ex: day, night).Select a Unit (if applicable)
Choose the unit you would like to work in, if options are available.Choose Assignment Length
Select the duration of your assignment.
Bundle Requirements
After selecting your preferences, you’ll be taken to the Bundle Requirements screen. Here, you can review:
Your selected options
The corresponding pay rates for each shift
Select Your Dates
Choose the days you’re available to work.
Keep in mind:
Weeks follow ShiftMed’s pay schedule (Saturday–Friday)
You’ll receive an error if a full week is skipped
Some days may be unavailable if you already have a shift scheduled
Once selected, you’ll see your Bundle Estimate, showing your potential earnings.
Tips:
Select more availability to increase your chances of approval
Only choose shifts you can realistically commit to
More flexibility = more visibility to facilities
Example: If you’re available all week, select all days - you won’t necessarily be scheduled every day, but it improves your chances for approval.

Bundle Estimates are based on current shift rates and selected dates. Actual earnings may vary depending on hours worked and shifts completed.

Click Request Bundle
What Happens Next
After submitting your request, a recruiter will review your Bundle request and contact you with next steps.
