Can I contact a facility directly for open shifts?
Contacting facilities directly is NOT allowed when working for ShiftMed. When you contact a facility directly, many problems arise. All shifts should be added on to your app before you work so that ShiftMed Staffers have a record of shifts worked and you are able to get paid. If you pick up a shift directly through the facility, schedulers aren't aware that you worked, resulting in payment delays and issues.
