How do I get the text code to log into the app?
If you did not receive the verification code via text message required to log into the app, please follow the steps outlined below:
Text the word "start" to 703-637-4911.
Return to the ShiftMed app and attempt to log in again to see if the text code is sent successfully this time.
If you still did not receive a text code, continue with the additional steps.
Make sure that your cell phone is running the latest IOS software. This can be found under your settings option on your phone. To see what the latest software version is available, please review the latest information on the websites for Apple and Android.
After you ensure your phone is updated to the latest IOS software version, you will need to uninstall and reinstall the ShiftMed app.
Return to the ShiftMed app and attempt to log in again to see if you receive a text code.
If you still have not received a text code continue with the additional steps.
In the ShiftMed App select the option "Get code via call". This should prompt a phone call to your mobile device, during which the verification code will be provided verbally.
How do I change my address in the app?
To update your address in the ShiftMed app please follow the steps below:
Select the menu option (3 white horizontal lines) in the bottom right-hand corner of the app.
2. A slide out menu screen will populate; at the top of this slide out select the option “Edit Account” under your name and next to your profile picture.
3. Within the Edit Profile screen, scroll down to the address section, here you can update your address. You may also update your profile picture within this screen as well.
How do I update my phone number?
Since your phone number also serves as your username, it can only be updated by contacting our Care Team via phone or chat. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience.

Why can't I upload my documents in the app?
If you are having trouble uploading documents or photos. Please go to your settings and allow ShiftMed access to your pictures and camera roll.
Also, make sure your phone software is on the latest software update, as this can cause issues between your phone and the app not working properly. This is also under your settings on your phone.

How do I convert a photo to PDF?
There are times you may need to upload a PDF for a particular credential. Follow the step below to convert a photo on your phone. Alternatively, you can download a PDF converter app from the Play Store or App Store, upload your image, and convert it.
iPhone Users
Go to photo > Select Share > Select Print > Long press on photo (it will expand) > Tap the image > Pop up will say Generating PDF > Select Share > Select Save to Files (or other desired location)

Depending on your current iOS version, steps may vary.
Android Users
Go to Google Photos > Open the image > Tap the three dots > Select Print > Choose Save as PDF
