Viewing Direct Deposit

You can view, add, or change your direct deposit details at any time directly through the ShiftMed app. This ensures your earnings are deposited securely and without delay.

  1. Navigate to the menu

  2. Select Financials

  3. Select Direct Deposit


Adding Direct Deposit

Add your bank account in the app immediately after onboarding to avoid payment delays.

  • Verification: Bank account verification takes 3-4 business days.

    • If your account isn't verified in time, your first paycheck will be mailed as a live check to your address on file.

IMPORTANT: You must wait TWO WEEKS to use Next Day Pay® or ShiftMed Instant Pay™ as we need time to set you up to utilize these free in-app services.


Updating Direct Deposit

You can update your direct deposit details in the app at any time.

Changing your bank account will trigger a new verification period, temporarily affecting premium pay features.

  • A new 3-4 business day verification period is required for new bank accounts.

  • Next Day Pay® and Instant Pay™ will be temporarily unavailable during this verification process.

  • Your regular direct deposit payments will continue once the new account is successfully verified.

We DO NOT recommend updating your direct deposit information with a Next Day Pay or Instant Pay request in process, as it could delay your earnings.
