Annual Physical Exam: An annual physical can be a full physical exam or a statement of health from your doctor clearing you to work.

Continuing Education 12 Hour Attestation: Some of our partner facilities require this credential before claiming a shift.
COVID-19 Testing: Upload your most current negative COVID-19 test result
COVID-19 testing may be required a facilities with the clipboard symbol showing in front of their name within the app.
Crisis Prevention Training: CPI Training provides the de-escalation techniques and behavior management strategies needed to create a culture of safety within a variety of different environments.
Drug Screening: All drug screenings must be completed through ShiftMed.
We DO NOT accept third party drug screenings.
EHR Competency: All Acute Care Facilities require some form of EHR Competency Testing / Training and each facility handles it differently. The EHR Competency is used to prove that a caregiver can successfully use the facility's charting system to update patient records.
This is typically completed at orientation.
EKG Assessment: Only Health Care Providers with a RN Professional License, Medical Specialty, and Surgery Specialty on file will be required to take the EKG Assessment.
Flu Shot: Some of our partner facilities in the area do require a flu shot during flu season.
Hepatitis B: 3 dose vaccination series or titer.
IV Therapy Certificate: Some ShiftMed facility partners in California and Florida require healthcare professionals to show proof of IV Therapy Certification.
This certificate is typically required for LPNs.
License Certificate: The Professional License Certificate credential in the app is used to contain a document that a state’s licensing body issues after a healthcare professional has met the state requirements and passed a specific licensing exam for a particular professional license type.
MMR: 2 dose vaccination series or titer.
N95 Mask Fit: Some of our partner facilities require this credential before claiming a shift.
NIH Stroke Scale Course: The NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) is a critical component of acute stroke assessment and may be required for certain Specialties.
Online Learning Certification: We have partnered with some of our Acute Health Systems to provide learning modules for our RNs, CNAs, and RTs. These modules vary based on specialty, location, and previous experience with the facility. You must complete these modules to be able to claim shifts at the facility.

Skills Self Evaluation: Complete directly within in the app.
Specialties: Some of our partner facilities frequently seek clinical support from healthcare professionals with specialized skills. If you're certified in a specialty area of practice, you want this credential on file with us.
TDAP: Vaccine record (valid for 10 years) or titer.
TB Test: 1-step PPD, 2-step PPD or TB Blood Test (completed within the last year) or Chest X-Ray (completed within the last 5 years)
Disclaimer: 1-step PPD is the minimum testing requirement, however specific facilities may have additional TB testing requirements at their discretion
TNCC: The Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) equips emergency nurses with essential trauma knowledge and skills to provide life-saving care.
This may be required for certain Specialties.
Varicella: 2 dose vaccination series or titer.
