Genesis Health, the largest post-acute care provider, offers shifts exclusively on the ShiftMed app. Follow these steps to get started.
Onboarding for Genesis
Finish Your ShiftMed Onboarding: Complete our quick onboarding process in the app.
Upload Genesis Credentials: You must provide these Genesis-specific documents:
CPR Certification (RNs/LPNs only)
Hepatitis B Documentation (vaccination or declination form)
Complete Online Training: We will send you login credentials to complete mandatory courses. Your completion certificate will be automatically uploaded to your profile.
Once we receive all items, we will provision your account. Look for an email with your OneLogin details, which you must register before your first shift.
Clocking in and out at Genesis
To ensure you are paid on time, you are required to clock in and out at the facility using the UKG Timeclock.
The ShiftMed app and the facility kiosk are for check-in only and do not record your pay hours.
UKG Login: Use your birthdate (MMDDYYYY) as your PIN.
If you miss a punch: You must submit a Genesis Missed Punch Form to get paid, even if you clocked into the ShiftMed app.
Forms are available on-site near the time clock or at the front desk. No other form will be accepted.
Ask for help: If you cannot find the UKG Timeclock, ask facility staff immediately.
